**Registration for 2023 Summer Drama Camp will open Jan 2023**

Camp Dates: June 12-16, 2023

2022 Summer Drama Camp
June 13 - 17

We are pleased to once again offer a drama camp for our Rabun County and visiting youth.  Camp will be Monday - Friday, 9am-4pm, with a showcase on Friday, June 17 at 6pm.  All youth age 9-16 are welcome. Campers will participate in drama activities, exercises, games and rehearsals to learn the in’s and out’s of the theater. Concluding the week will be a short performance by the wonderful young campers for friends and family to see! We hope to see you there!

When: June 13-17, 9am-4pm;                                        showcase June 17 @ 6:00pm

Cost: $145 per camper, $205 for two siblings

* Ages 9-16

*Lunch will be provided.

*Campers should wear comfortable clothing and gym shoes

By checking the box below, I hereby give permission for the camper listed above to participate in the 2022 NGCP Summer Drama Camp.  I hereby release and hold harmless NGCP, its members, and volunteers from all liabilities and any mishaps that may befall the camper including, but not limited to, the activities in the theater, back rooms, and outside the building.  In case of emergency, NGCP has my permission to secure emergency medical treatment for the child listed above.

Emma Jean Scott, Drama Camp Director

Emma Jean Scott is the daughter of Jake and Courtney Scott and is a 2021 graduate of Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School. During her time at Rabun Gap Emma Jean played many roles including Cinderella in Into The Woods, Meg Murry in A Wrinkle in Time, and Tilly Evans in She Kills Monsters. She was awarded the 2021 vocal scholarship from the Classic Center in Athens, Georgia and was awarded a full scholarship to study acting at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. Emma Jean is currently a sophomore at Oglethorpe University and has most recently starred as Florence in their production of The Play that Goes Wrong, Annie in Evil Dead: The Musical, and was an ensemble member as well as Heather McNamara’s understudy in Actors Express’ production of Heathers: The Musical. Emma Jean is also a director, writer, and actor with S.T.E.P. Studio Inc and is currently directing a film of her own. She is over the moon to get to work with such young actors and hopes she can introduce them to the world of the stage. She hopes to leave an impression on these kids and teach them about her love of theater!
