Audition details: 

Auditions will consist of readings from provided sides (see below) with some possible direction and interaction with other actors.

This is an open audition. There are roles for females ages 20 - 35 and males ages 25 - 35.

Available roles: (all in relation to the main character, Carnelle)

Popeye Jackson - Carnelle's seamstress

Elain Rutledge - Carnelle's first cousin, former Miss Firecracker

Delmount Williams - Carnelle's first cousin, Elain's brother

Mac Sam - the balloon man, Carnelle's love

Tessy Mahoney - Miss Firecracker beauty contest coordinator
